Not a crisis service. Golden Era does not provide 24-hour coverage. In an emergency call 911. For 24/7 support call or text 988.

Offerings

Support that grows with you.

Medication management and therapy, available now by video for clients in Maryland. The same clinicians will see people in person in Carroll County when those rooms open.

Sunlit desk prepared for a thoughtful visit

All ages

Medication management

A full visit for new concerns and follow-up: what is happening, what has already been tried, and whether medication belongs in the plan. Side effects, interactions, and what to watch for are part of the hour — not a footnote.

A calm therapy corner with a sofa and lamp

Children, teens, and adults

Therapy

Talk therapy in the same practice as psychiatric care. The aim is a place to be heard, not only assessed, and a plan that does not have to be retold to a second office.

A sunlit children's corner with wooden toys

Ages 6–17

Child and adolescent care

Evaluation, medication when it helps, and therapy for children and teens. Parents are partners. Younger children are seen with a caregiver in the visit.

A meadow in late light

Children, teens, and adults

ADHD evaluation and treatment

A clear look at attention, impulsivity, and the cost of keeping up at school, work, or home. Treatment can include therapy, routines, and medication when that is the right tool.

Lotus on still water at sunrise

All ages

Mood, anxiety, and depression

Steady care for anxiety, depression, bipolar-spectrum illness, OCD, and days that feel too heavy. Visits are long enough to notice what changed, not only what was prescribed.

Quiet sunlit room

Adolescents and adults

Women’s mental health

Care through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and the hormonal chapters that change mood and sleep. This is outpatient psychiatric care, not obstetric care.

What a first hour includes

Enough time to begin properly.

  • Who the visit is for, and who should be in the room.
  • History, current symptoms, sleep, and what has already helped or hurt.
  • A working impression, in plain language.
  • Options — therapy, medication, both, or watchful follow-up.
  • How to reach the practice, and what to do in an emergency.

Not offered here. Golden Era is an outpatient practice. It is not a crisis service, a detox unit, or a 24-hour line. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For 24/7 support, call or text 988.
